On Friday, Houston’s Óscar Boniek García came in as second-half substitute then proceeded to score a goal and help set-up two more in the club’s 4-2 win over New York Red Bulls. The win snapped their two match winless streak. The next match for the Dynamo is on June 20, when they travel to Portland to face the Timbers.

Speaking of Portland, two late goals by Fanendo Adi saw the home side Timbers defeat New England 2-0 on Saturday night. Adi opened the scoring in the 86^th minute than added his second three minutes later.

Daniel Díaz opened the scoring in the fifth minute as Boca Juniors easily defeated Newell’s Old Boys 4-0 on Sunday. The win saw the club move into second place, one point behind leaders San Lorenzo.
