Posted December 7th at 12:00am.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team includes the greatest Legends to ever set foot on the pitch. Every week, FIFA 14 spotlight one Legend, only available on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

This week’s Spotlight: Patrick Vieira

There are those who try to lead, and then there are those who are born to lead. Former Arsenal and French national team captain Patrick Vieira is the latter.

Vieira is the former Arsenal and French national team captain who rose to prominence as a fierce midfielder during his time at Arsenal from 1996 to 2005.  There, he led the Gunners to three Premier League titles and four FA Cups, including their undefeated 2003-04 season. As a member of the France national team, he made 107 appearances including the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship, won by France.

Vieira won wherever he played. Following his spell at Arsenal, Vieira moved to the Serie A where he spent one season at Juventus before joining Internazionale, where he would win four Serie A titles. He would return to England for one season with Manchester City before retiring from the game in 2011.

Known for his intimidating midfield presence, the 6’4” Vieira was also a veteran influence on his squad. The relentless Vieira developed into a world-class midfielder and one that could be heavily relied on to win the ball and distribute it effectively.
