Blocky put himself on the Madden map after a strong finish in the 2018 Club Championship, getting beat out by Michael “Skimbo” Skimbo in the quarterfinals. But he was no one-hit-wonder. Blocky then entered the Ultimate League as an underdog but dominated the regular season and advanced to the semifinals. He lost out to eventual champion Shay “Young Kiv” Kivlen, but put up a solid campaign, with a sixth-place finish in total earnings during the Madden 2018 MCS season. Blocky doesn’t say a lot, but lets his playing do the talking. “We’re all doing what we love to do. We all play Madden. We all like playing video games. We all like football. At the end of the day, we’re just playing a game,” Blocky said at the end of last season.

“I try to stay dedicated to whatever goals I have set; I make sure to put the time and effort into reaching the results I want, but also want to make sure I enjoy what I put my time into. I feel I’m best at managing an easy game for myself, being able to limit my mistakes and give myself the best chance to win. Realizing the situation within a ball game and being able to adjust on both sides of the ball is an area I hope to keep getting better at.”
