Posted March 2nd at 6:00pm.

The beginning of Major League Soccer's 22nd season is this weekend. To kick off the festivities, MLS brings you the MLS March to Soccer Challenge.

The MLS March to Soccer Challenge is a live FIFA 17 competitive event played on Xbox One consoles. The winner of this tournament will be awarded with a berth to the Season 2 Americas Regional Final of the FIFA Ultimate Team™ Championship Series to be played in Vancouver on April 8th

Twelve player ambassadors representing 12 MLS clubs began their quest for silverware last week. After an online elimination stage, eight players remain to face off in the Big Apple.

The competition will be fierce with a field of highly skilled players; however, here are two players whose journey you cannot miss:

CASTRO4DAKIDZ

One of the most recognizable faces within the FIFA community, Edwin Castro is representing his hometown club, Chicago Fire, in the MLS March to Soccer Challenge.

The popular Twitch streamer and YouTuber will have a large contingent of supporters behind him as he attempts to earn a spot in Vancouver to compete with the best players in the Americas region.

Does the entertainment master have what it takes to compete on the big stage and win his way to Vancouver?

MrESTRINO

Bernardo "MrESTRINO" Polvo-Romero is the only competitor at the MLS March to Soccer Challenge who also competed in Miami for the Season 1 Americas Regional Final.

Grouped in a difficult group with experienced player Alexander 'Alekzandur' Betancourt, Polvo-Romero was unable to reach the knockout stage despite finishing with a 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss record. However, Polvo-Romero will return to New York to compete as back in November he lifted the eCopa Coca-Cola trophy, securing his spot to Miami.

Representing Colorado Rapids in the MLS March to Soccer Challenge, Bernardo's experience in South Florida may prove crucial as he attempts to book his ticket to Vancouver.

Catch all the action of the MLS Match to Soccer Challenge live from New York this Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM EST / March 3rd at 1:00 AM CET  on our FIFA Twitch Channel.
