On Saturday, Thomas Müller scored twice as Bayern Munich came from behind to defeat SV Darmstadt 3-1 and keep their eight-point lead atop the Bundesliga standings. Müller’s first goal came shortly after the start of the second half, with his second coming just over 20 minutes later.
Meanwhile in Paris, PSG continue to dominate any opposition that comes their way, this time defeating Stade de Reims 4-1. Zlatan Ibrahimović played a role in all four of PSG’s goals, scoring two and helping to set-up the other two. One of his assists was setting up teammate Gregory Van Der Wiel’s opening goal in the 12th minute.
Boca Juniors’ Carlos Tévez had a goal and two assists in their 4-1 win over Newell’s Old Boys on Saturday afternoon. The win saw the club move into fourth place in Group B. Their next league match is on Sunday when they visit Racing Club.
