BIO
Off the back of becoming the fastest artist to ever reach 1 billion streams via Spotify and having released his debut album, ‘Cloud Nine’ in early 2016 to grand critical acclaim, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, aka KYGO, has now firmly established himself as one of the most exciting artists on the planet.

Q&A

1. Who are you? Please tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m Kyrre-Gørvell Dahll, aka Kygo, a producer and DJ hailing from Bergen in Norway and I released my debut album, ‘Cloud Nine’ in 2016. I also had a song featured in last year’s game!

2. How long have you been playing FIFA?

FIFA 99 is the first FIFA I remember playing a lot. My childhood was pretty much made up of piano and football. I also bring FIFA on every tour bus whenever I’m travelling between gigs.

3. What is your fondest EA SPORTS™ FIFA memory?

That’s easy. Each and every time I beat my brother! It happens all the time but there’s no better feeling.

4. What is your favourite club and/or player?

SK Brann are my local team so I support them, while I’m also a fan of watching La Liga and the Premier League. I’m hoping my fellow countryman, Martin Odegaard can live up to the hype and become a great player at Real Madrid over the next couple of years too!

5. What is the inspiration behind your FIFA 17 Ultimate Team™ kit design(s)?

That would be my most recent album, ‘Cloud Nine’. I’ve used elements that were on the artwork on the kit and also have my logo where the club’s crest is usually featured.

6. What is your favourite aspect/element of your kit design(s)?

Easily the signature paint swish on the back where the player’s names are. Mr. Brainwash created it for my album cover and it’s pretty awesome to see it featured on my own FIFA kit now!

7. Where can people see more of your work?

Follow me across all of my social feeds and also on Spotify and Apple Music where pretty much all of my music is hosted. Go check out my new album, ‘Cloud Nine’ as well and come and see me perform somewhere near you soon.
