Performances from international tournament qualifiers and friendlies highlight this week’s Team of the Week squad.
On Friday, Arjen Robben scored two second-half goals, including the match-winner in the 81st minute, to see The Netherlands defeat Wales 2-3 in Cardiff.
In other friendly action that evening, Kevin De Bruyne had a goal and an assist as Belgium defeated Italy 3-1 in Brussels.
Zlatan Ibrahimović scored three of Sweden’s four goals to see them defeat Denmark 4-3 on aggregate and qualify to next summer’s European Tournament in France. On Saturday, he scored from the penalty spot as they won the first leg 2-1 in front of a home crowd. Tuesday’s return leg in Copenhagen finished 2-2, with Zlatan scoring both goals for the visitors.
