FIFA Ultimate Team - Team of the Week

Posted September 5th at 12:00am.

Each week, FIFA Ultimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competition around the world. This collection of players is available to challenge in FIFA Ultimate Team.

Newcastle United won their first match of the Barclays Premier League season 1:0 over Fulham with Hatem Ben Arfa scoring in the 86th minute. It was the club’s first goal of the season, having gone scoreless for 411 minutes prior.

While he may not have scored in Real Madrid’s 3:1 over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, Luka Modrić’s presence on the pitch is a key reason why the club still holds a 100% winning record this early in the season. While his focus shifts this week to international play as Croatia visits Serbia in an important World Cup Qualifying match, Real Madrid fans will hope his fine form continues when they travel to Villareal to face the newly promoted club in a few weeks.

FIFA 14’s South American co-cover star Arturo Vidal was in fine form for defending Serie A champions Juventus as they easily took care of Lazio 4:1 at home. Vidal opened the scoring for the Turin side in the 14th minute then slotted home another 12 minutes later.
