Season Simulation Week 4

Welcome to Week Four of the EA SPORTS NHL 13: 2012-2013 NHL Season Simulation.Simulations will be released on a weekly basis and will include top headlines, Hockey Ultimate Team Three Stars of the Week, box scores for each game, as well as standings and statistics for the league. The rosters used in the simulation will include all transactions made during the 2012 NHL Free Agency period.

Week Three (Oct.29- Nov.4) Headlines

· The San Jose Sharks have five of the top 10 scorers in the NHL: J. Pavelski (1^st); J. Thornton (5^th); P. Marleau (6^th); L. Couture (7^th); and R. Clowe (10^th).

· The Anaheim Ducks find themselves last in the Western Conference due to injury woes

· Losing two of three this week, the Montreal Canadiens historic win streak to open the season comes to an end at eight games.

· The Toronto Maple Leafs have the highest power play percentage in the league at 27.1%.

Injury Report:

· PEN E. Malkin will be out 3-4 months with a sprained MCL

· ANA S. Souray will be out one week with an undisclosed upper body injury

· ANA R. Getzlaf out 3-4 weeks with a fractured elbow

· ANA A. Cogliano out 4-6 weeks with a broken foot
