On October 8th, 2013 the San Jose Sharks took on the New York Rangers. Rookie sensation Tomas Hertl had huge expectations coming into the season and he showed Shark fans why they should be excited. In just his third NHL game, Hertl would score an astonishing four goals, tying a franchise record that was set on Dec. 19, 1995 against Anaheim, powering the San Jose Sharks to a 9-2 victory over the New York Rangers. Similarly, Hertl became the youngest NHL player to score four goals in a game since 1988.
