Earlier this year we released Crysis 2 on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Hardcore fans and new fans alike wanted to see Crysis on their consoles. Today, we're proud to announce that the critically-acclaimed, single-player campaign from Crysis is now available on the Playstation Network ($19.99 SRP) and Xbox LIVE Games on Demand (1600 Microsoft Points)!
We understand that players are having technical issues with the PlayStation 3 Crysis 2 multiplayer demo and we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We apologize if it is affecting your experience and we appreciate your patience and support.
The Crysis 2 PC demo has been overwhelmingly popular, this has both an upside and downside. The upside was that our Ranked Server Partners had to scale up for demand, nearly doubling capacity, and did so seamlessly. The downside was we have overwhelmed our backend servers and this has required us to make a few changes to help better balance the load.
Below are the patch notes for Patch 1.9, this is also the patch that will enable DX11 Support (available via a separate download). We're aiming to have this patch live and available to you all next week. As always we're interested to hear your comments/thoughts on these changes so please post them below.
