NFUT Auction Block Update 2

Throughout the college football season, EA SPORTS will highlight the most popular player items on the NFUT Auction Block.

The calendar has rolled over to August, and the start of college football season is just a few weeks away. The NCAA Football 14 Ultimate Team season is already well underway, and there has been some movement on the NFUT Auction Block.

PS3 MOST AUCTIONED PLAYERS
1. Peyton Manning, Award Winner
2. Darren McFadden, Award Winner
3. Manti Te’o, Award Winner
4. Maurkice Pouncey, Award Winner
5. Morris Claiborne, Award Winner

Tennessee’s Peyton Manning remains on top, but Arkansas’ Darren McFadden is now #2. LSU CB Morris Claiborne cracks the top five for the second straight week, and Maurkice Pouncey checks in at #4.

Over on Xbox 360, McFadden and Manning have switched places at the top, with Manti Te’o and Claiborne staying in the top five. Michigan WR Braylon Edwards sneaks into the top five as well.

As a reminder, we’ve taken the median auction price to ensure that one wildly overpriced auction won’t skew rankings too much. Bo Jackson’s average price has increased by 125,000 from last week, although most players have chosen to hang onto their Bo item. The week’s most expensive item was an Epic Bo item, sold for a whopping 1,150,000 coins.

In his first week, Michael Vick cracks the top five. Epic Bo was again the most expensive item of the week, selling on Xbox 360 for 1,350,000 coins.

2. Ohio Stadium, Ohio State
3. Bryant-Denny Stadium, Alabama
4. Tiger Stadium, LSU
5. Michigan Stadium, Michigan

Boise State’s famous blue turf has made for a popular item on the NFUT Auction Block, as Bronco Stadium has been auctioned more than twice as many times as second-ranked Ohio Stadium.

Of course, it’s no surprise that the Oregon Ducks are on top with more than three times as many auctions as Georgia Tech’s flexbone playbook.
