Season Simulation Week 5

Welcome to Week Five of the EA SPORTS NHL 13: 2012-2013 NHL Season Simulation.Simulations will be released on a weekly basis and will include top headlines, Hockey Ultimate Team Three Stars of the Week, box scores for each game, as well as standings and statistics for the league. The rosters used in the simulation will include all transactions made during the 2012 NHL Free Agency period.

Week Five (Nov.5 - 11) Headlines

·         Islanders surge to 2nd in the Eastern Conference winning all three games on the road this week. Nabokov delivers two shutout performances.

·         Anisimov helps the Blue Jackets move to 8th in the Western Conference chipping in for 16pts in 10 games.

·         Philadelphia Flyers win six of their last eight games, move into 6th place in the Eastern Conference after a slow start to the season.

Injury Report:

·         Z. Chara BOS – Out three months with herniated disc

·         M. Lucic BOS – Day to day with back spasms

·         J. Lupul TOR – Out two to three months with upper body injury
