Season Simulation Week 3

Welcome to Week Three of the EA SPORTS NHL 13: 2012-2013 NHL Season Simulation.Simulations will be released on a weekly basis and will include top headlines, Hockey Ultimate Team Three Stars of the Week, box scores for each game, as well as standings and statistics for the league. The rosters used in the simulation will include all transactions made during the 2012 NHL Free Agency period.

Week Three (Oct.21-28) Headlines

·         The Montreal Canadiens continue their stellar play, leading the NHL with a 8-0-0 record.

·         Leading the Western Conference are the Vancouver Canucks with a 6-2-1 record.

·         The Kings’ Stanley Cup hangover continues as they sit tied at the bottom of the standings with four points.

·         Rangers Forward Rick Nash pots a hat trick against the Lightning on Oct. 23rd, but the Lightning still take the game 4-3 OT.

·         Injury Report: ANA goalie J. Hiller will be out for 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle; EDM forward R. Nugent-Hopkins will be out until January with an undisclosed upper body injury; and STL defenseman A. Pietrangelo will be out until mid-december with a fractured ankle.
