Madden fans, we’ve got news on your first chance to see 2012 NFL Draft Picks in action within EA SPORTS Madden NFL ’12!

We’re excited to announce that LIVE on Draft Day (4/26) we will be dropping 2012 NFL Draft Picks exclusively into Madden Ultimate Team ’12. This will be the first time you are able to play with the future of the NFL by finding 2012 Draft Picks in Madden Ultimate Team packs and your first look at how the stars of tomorrow will be rated for Madden NFL ’13.

What kind of a dynamic offense would you have with RG3 at quarterback and a wider receiver core of Jerry Rice, Justin Blackmon, and Calvin Johnson Jr.? What kind of pass coverage will you have with Morris Claiborne on one side, and Deion Sanders on the other? Madden Ultimate Team ’12 is going to bring it to you.

We’ve tabbed Donny Moore, the Madden ratings czar, to not only provide exclusive draft pick ratings for a crop of over 30 2012 NFL hopefuls, but he has gone one step further and  selected six “Future Stars” to be given special cards rated as though it was their career year. You might think Andrew Luck will be a talented player as early as next year, but what about five years from now? These future stars will give you a peek not only of how spectacular they might be in future versions of Madden, but even how they might perform over their NFL career.

But that’s not the biggest part of our announcement -- the 2012 NFL Draft Picks and Future Stars are going to be your first chance to start building your Madden Ultimate Team in EA SPORTS Madden NFL ’13. Every draft pick you find in Madden Ultimate Team ’12 will grant you that same rookie version in Madden Ultimate Team ’13. That’s right, the draft picks you find in MUT ’12 will carry over to MUT ’13. When you start your Ultimate Team in ’13, you could have a head start with Andrew Luck, Justin Blackmon, and Trent Richardson.
