The Stanley Cup Playoffs have just begun and we thought it would be a great time to honor those players who had a great regular season by selecting the NHL 12 HUT Team of the Year. Following in the footsteps of the EA SPORTS NHL 13 Cover Vote, we want YOU, the fans to decide the starting line-up. Starting today, you will have the chance to vote for the HUT Team of the Year on the EA SPORTS NHL Facebook page.

Each day we’ll post a FB poll where you can select your favorite player at a specific position. Once we have the results of the voting, we will release the special edition HUT Team of the Year cards on April 19. Like the HUT Stars of the Week, the players will receive big-time attribute upgrades, but even more so this time around! These are must-have, rare players, so if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one, you can expect them to fetch a pretty penny in the Auction House.

In addition to the fan voted players, the EA SPORTS NHL team will also hand pick six of the most deserving players in the NHL (five skaters, one goalie). Stay tuned to this blog and the EA SPORTS NHL Facebook page for the HUT Team of the Year announcement on April 19.
