NHL 13 Fantasy Rankings - Right Wingers

EA SPORTS is proud to present our 2013 Top Five NHL Fantasy Rankings by Position. If you’re looking to get the jump on your fantasy draft and manage your team all the way to the #1 spot, this guide is for you.

Here’s a look at the Top Five Right Wingers:

1. James Neal (PIT)

James Neal always had the potential to be a good fantasy player, and he really jumped into the fantasy elite once he was traded to Pittsburgh to play alongside Evgeni Malkin. Playing every shift with Malkin, and being on the first power play unit with Sidney Crosby and Kristopher Letang will do great things for anyone.

2. Corey Perry (ANA)

After his MVP season in 2011, Perry fell back down to earth last season. However, 37 goals, 60 points and 127 PIMs are still nothing to sneeze at. Perry will give you great to elite production in all categories and if his linemate Ryan Getzlaf gets his game together, his point production could once again be in the top five.

3. Marian Gaborik (NYR)

Hi Marian, meet your best buddy Rick Nash. He’s going to be one of the biggest keys to your success this year. Gaborik scored 41 goals last season and nearly a point a game. If the Rangers’ top line really clicks, Gaborik could lead the league in points.

4. Tyler Seguin (BOS)

Tyler made a huge jump last year after a relatively quiet rookie year.  He was second in the league in plus/minus last year and finished the year strong with 67 points.  Tyler has the potential to be a top five pick next year – reach for him a round early.

5. Patrick Kane (CHI)

Fresh off a stint in Europe, Kane looks to be in fine form. His hands are as fast as ever and with Jonathan Toews itching to hit the ice as well, the two could partner for a fine season. In a shortened season, those two young guns will have a leg up on the competition.
