NCAA Football Cover Vote Unveils Top 8

EA SPORTS has announced the eight finalists for the NCAA Football Cover Vote. Alabama carried over its momentum from the Round of 16, once again securing the most support with more than 60,000 votes. Michigan and Texas A&M closed the gap, however, as voting went down to the final minutes to determine who would take the top spot.

With more than 1.7 million votes cast so far across both polls, college football fans have shown tremendous devotion to their favorite teams, and that passion will only intensify as the stakes get higher with the final goal in sight.

Vote totals have been reset, as the vote for the final four begins today on the NCAA Football Facebook page, in an effort to trim the eight schools to four.

Below are the schools advancing into the round of eight.

1. Alabama

2. Texas A&M

3. Michigan

4. Ohio State

5. Oregon

6. Notre Dame

7. Georgia

8. Florida State

In the coming week EA SPORTS will begin announcing the athletes that will be representing their respective schools on Facebook. Fans should check back daily as the biggest names in college football are unveiled.

Athlete-specific voting will begin on Monday, February 4th, and the four semifinalists will be revealed on Monday, February 18th.
