LIVE Ultimate Team - Weekly Spotlight - April 16

Posted April 17th at 12:00am.

The primary driving force behind LIVE Ultimate Team (LUT) and NBA LIVE 14 is to constantly bring you fresh new content that makes the game feel different every time you play.

Each week, EA SPORTS will highlight the NBA’s top performers, determined by their stats and performances in the week prior, as well as NBA Legends and Alumni and other items available in LIVE Ultimate Team.

WEEK OF APRIL 16

DIRK NOWITZKI, DALLAS MAVERICKS F
Dirk has the Dallas Mavericks back in the playoffs after a one-year absence, and could garner some MVP votes after averaging 21.6 PPG and 6.2 RPG. Nowitzki was as efficient as ever in last week's win at Utah, scoring 21 points on 9-11 shooting. The performance was also historical, as he passed Oscar Robertson for 10th place on the all-time scoring list.

DEMARCUS COUSINS, SACRAMENTO KINGS C
The Kings are lottery-bound for the seventh consecutive season, but Cousins continued his ascent in the ranks of the NBA's best big men. He ended his season on a eight-game double-double streak, and averaged career highs in PPG (22.7), RPG (11.7), APG (2.9), blocks (1.3) and field goal percentage (49.6).

COREY BREWER, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
In seven NBA seasons, Corey Brewer had never scored more than 29 points in a game. But in a win against the Rockets last week, Brewer joined Terrence Ross as unlikely 50-point scorers by pouring in 51 on 19/30 shooting. This performance is the latest impressive performance for Brewer, who is shooting better than 48 percent from the field. Prior to this season, he had never shot more than 43.4 percent.
