Hidekiko Yoshida who you see there actually won the gold medal in Judo (78 kg class) at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and is well known in Japan fighting in MMA, he recently retired from competion but its still nice having a Japanese HW Fighter in the game, I wished Kazuyuki "Ironhead" Fujita & Tsuyoshi "TK" Kosaka both HW's as well were also in this game but maybe as downloads please EA???? the Japanese would love it as well as I would too and they deserve to be in this game, they are both legends just like Yoshida is!

It's Hidehiko Yoshida, Olympic Judo Gold Medalist and Pride FC HW Fighter before, Japan obviously would like to have a Japanese guy on the cover of their game and he is idolized there so that's why they are putting him on the cover, Couture isn't that popular in Japan like Yoshida is and Fedor is also very popular in Japan cause he made his career there fighting for Pride as well being their HW Champion, GP 2004 Tournament winner, dominating the competion etc.
