What is the Madden Challenge?
The EA SPORTS Madden Challenge is EA's biggest Consumer event in which competitors and fans from across the world compete in the world?s only official Madden video game tournament. The regional tournaments take place in 26 US cities, and 5 International cities which culminates into a Madden Challenge finals in which the winners from each square off in the ultimate battle to crown a EA SPORTS Madden Challenge Champion for the grand prize.
When did the Madden Challenge begin?
This is the fifth year of the Madden Challenge.

How can I register for my city?
Registration is available either online or onsite. Online registration (via maddenchallenge.com) will open for all cities on August 10th. (Note: Major Credit Card is needed)

Onsite registration will be available at each city, beginning two hours before the official start of tournament play. Registration is $15 per person.
Can I register for more than one city?
Yes! you can register and compete in multiple cities. The only exception is for regional champions in the Pro and XBOX 360 division! if you win the tournament in one city, you can no longer compete.
How many entries are available in each city?
Pro Division -- There will be a 512 person bracket for each city
XBOX 360 Division -- There will be a 64 person bracket for each city
What are the online registration details?
Online registration will open on August 10th for all competitors. Registration will be open until approximately four days before each regional event, or until the available online registration slots fill up, whichever comes first. (Note: Major Credit Card is needed)
What are the walkup registration details?
Walkup registration will be available at all locations the afternoon of the event, beginning two hours before the official start of tournament play (check maddenchallenge.com for specific start times for each market). Walkup registration will take the form of a lottery; thus, there is no benefit to camping out and waiting in line. Walkup registrants will receive a number (one per person) and selections will be made via a random drawing. The number of walkup spots will vary based on the number of online registrants who don?t show up.
What do I win?
Each Pro Division Regional winner will be awarded a regional cash prize of $1,000 . Additionally, Each Pro Division Regional winner will win a trip for two to Hawaii to compete against the other regional winners for a shot at the grand prize.
