Madden NFL All-25: Tackle Jonathan Ogden
By EA SPORTS Aug 7, 2013
In the same year that his famous teammate Ray Lewis would grace the cover of Madden NFL 2005, Jonathan Ogden was building on a Hall of Fame career at the tackle position.
“Jonathan Ogden was selected to the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team for a reason. Being rated 99 overall, he personified excellence at the LT position in Madden.” - Brian Parker
In a 12-year career which began as the first-ever draft pick for the new Baltimore Ravens franchise, Ogden made the Pro Bowl 11 times, won Super Bowl XXXV and made the All-Pro team 10 times.
“Jonathan Ogden was a wall and a true monster at left tackle. If you had him on your Madden 2005 team, there was no reason to ever worry about your blindside. He was a 99 overall player for multiple years.” - Shaun Mason
Ogden was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2013.
“Ogden was not only one of the best offensive lineman of all-time, but also an all-time Madden great. Although he had a rating in the high 90's for several seasons, he made his biggest impact in the 2005 version - which many consider to be the best Madden ever. Combined with an absolutely lethal defense, Ogden made the Ravens a sure-fire pick due to his ability to seal the left side of the line keeping both the quarterback and running back safe.” - Corey Andress
