Now EA SPORTS? and the development team in Canada are bringing Create-A-Player to NHL 06! Create-A-Player allows you to get in the game with the new analog facial sculpting controls, player appearance customization, and equipment selection. In addition to the usual facial feature options, you can also add black eyes, scars, and a broken nose to put fear in the eyes of your opponents.

What kind of NHL pro have you always wanted to be -- a clean-cut MVP like The Great One, or a rough and rowdy, penalty-box regular like Toronto's Tie Domi? Now, you can be that player. Create a single player, establish an NHL team in your hometown and build a dynasty, or edit any player in the league with the all-new player editor.

To manipulate a player to look like your clone, start by shaping his face with the Facial Features options: cheeks/jaw, chin/neck, eyebrows, ears, eyes, lips, mouth and nose.

Next, add the special touches by modifying the Player's Appearance: hair color, eye color, eyebrow color, black eyes, scars and even a broken nose, if you want one.

The last thing you'll need to determine is how decked out you want your player and team. Take the ice by sporting very specific brands, or go for a certain look with equipment options you have to choose from: visor (on or off, clear, grey or orange), helmet, skates, stick and gloves. You can choose from top brands like CCM, Jofa, Nike, Bauer, Itech, Mission, Easton, Lousiville, Koho and Sher-Wood.
