The votes are in, and Grambling State University is the champion of our HBCU Battle of the Bands! While each of the bands did an exceptional job, the Tigers got an overwhelming response, getting over 50% of the votes to win the competition.

The World Famed Tiger Marching Band, led by Director Dr. Larry J. Pannell, fields 206 members and has performed for Presidents Nixon, Clinton, Bush, and the late William Hubert. They have made appearances in Tokyo, Liberia, Africa, have five Super bowl performances to their credit, and were featured in the movie "Drumline." With such a long, rich history, Grambling State is definitely deserving of the title.
