I think a great feature for NCAA 14 would be the ability to create rivalries over the course of a dynasty. Maybe have something like a "Tension Meter" between two schools, and the meter would increase based on things such as geographic location, upsets, big games, bowl games/championship games, running up the score, etc. Then once the meter reaches a certain point, the two schools would officially be labeled as "rivals". I think a feature like that would add a much more realistic feel to the game.

My wish list for NCAA Football 14 is that another company makes a game for NCAA 14. EA has officially stopped caring about putting out a quality product and really doesn't care about their customer base at all. NCAA 13 will be the last EA game I purchase, the headache is no longer worth it. Horrible A.I., Horrible Servers, Basic Blugs/Glitches running rampid, etc. For putting out the same game every year they sure find new ways to mess the game up. It's pathetic.

Can you make the following change in NCAA Football 14? If a game is for one of the trophies in the trophy case, can the name of the trophy or a picture of the trophy appear in the top center of the screen (instead of saying "at', "rivalry game", "national broadcast game", "regional broadcast game", "game of the week", or "conference logo" in the Scores/Schedules tab? I like accumalting trophies, but it is hard to do if you do not know the teams that play for the trophy. You should not have to select a game, go into it, and then find out it's a trophy game. You should be told it is a trophy game before selecting the game.

I thought of one additional possible update. Can you offer each player in an online game the option to play regular or coach?

-New QB "feet set" requirements this year are Marvelous! Really cuts down on the online "cheese" QB scramble. There could be some slight tweaking to legit "roll out" pass accuracy. That is... if i have my QB rolling out running towards my receiver, the QB NOT throwing against his body, those type passes could be a bit more accurate in game.

-Custom Playbooks seem to be working more reliably this year. Still some glitches occasionally while playing online. It would be REALLY nice if we could edit the playbook while in PRACTICE MODE. First off, to give players the ability to edit out immediately the plays that just dont work well. Second, to allow players to set up formation audibles while in PRACTICE MODE. Every time I try to adjust plays in/out of my playbooks to set up my formation audibles, i have to EXIT practice mode, load my playbook, swap plays in/out, SAVE playbook, exit playbook, load practice mode, load that formation, run the play, test the formation audibles. Repeat... the entire process at least 4 more times to get another formation audible. THAT'S FOR JUST ONE FORMATION AUDIBLE for ONE FORMATION. I have to repeat the entire process again an exponential number of times to get the 4 formation audibles I want for ONE formation.

-Missing Formations and weak playbooks for certain formations. Fullhouse formations in general have a lack of plays. Missing Kansas State QB Run Power formations with QB, 2 fullbacks, 2 TEs, 1 WR. Missing K-State QB Power Run Formations/Plays, QB Power option package. Missing OU's "Bell Dozer" formations and associated plays, many similar to K-State's QB Power Run package.

-Bubble Screens. Still not working in game. Poor design on the routes, QB cant deliver the ball correctly, accurately, or fast enough. WR blocking across the board in EA NCAA football is horrible, resulting in * poor performance on 99% of all WR screens. Cheating AI D-backs and LBs as well contribute to the attrocious performance on WR screen package in EA's NCAA Football. Speed Thresholds for LBs and D-Line is a joke. Interior D-Linemen are all over WRs on Bubble screens the second the WR is catching the ball, or they're chasing down 4.25 "40" speed WRs from behind on WR screens. GET REAL EA!!!

Default Speed Threshold settings. D-Lineman, LBs chasing down Oregon's Thomas "Black Mamba" from behind. D-backs 15 yards behind WRs, chasing down WRs breaking away "in the open" in about 1 second. Need I say more? Are you dumbing down the game to cater to the casual player? By Giving all D-Lineman and LBs unrealistic closing speed? Make run speeds more realistic by default. If the casual player cant play defense, let them change speed settings. DONT BREAK THE GAME for online head to head play with unrealistic default closing speed for the defense.

-Fix Trucking. 6,6 285 lb TEs that have caught the ball and have been running downfield full speed10 to 15 yards are being absolutely decimated and bent over backwards by 5'10-, 170 lb CBs in one on one contact situations 9/10 times. Just one example, and it's not and overexaggeration. The same with 5'10 225 HBs... on pitch plays, HB rounds the corner at full speed.... a 5'10 170lb CB slips off a WR block a few feet from the HB, and without any momentum or running start the CB "Big Hits" the HB and knocks him backwards almost every time.

-Revolution Helmets. The Revo facemasks still dont look right. Revo RB comes down below the neck. Revo full cage looks like something out of a Roman Gladiator movie. Most revo facemasks extend out too far from the face, and extend too low below the face.

-New Running animations. While I understand EA uses Motion Capture for some of the tackling and catching animations, running animations in games still look flat out robotic. Most noticeable with any player on a "break away" running the ball to the end zone. It would be awesome to see several different "running styles" via motion capture for RBs, QBs, WRs. ie "the galloper" Marcus Lattimore ... "the slasher" Adrian Peterson... "the *sc4t-back" Noel Devine.... "the power-back" Le'Veon Bell. New motion capture running movement for ball carriers and the ability for your consumers to change their running style via in game settings. And a few different generic motion capture running animations for defenders and all linemen.

-New Realistic Carrying the ball animations. Can we get more realistic ball carrying animations? Specifically get rid of the "carrying a loaf a bread on the hip" look you see on most ball carriers. The ball should be shown in game as carried HIGH and TIGHT, and towards the midline/front of the body, versus what we see in game.... low on the hip like your carrying a loaf of bread around the grocery store. Every single time in EA's game I see a WR, HB, QB running downfield with the ball on his hip i just cringe. It's so unrealistic.

-New Player Models. EA really needs to "beef up" the muscularity on most WRs, HBs, QBs, DBs. Most players in game, under 6 feet, and/or under 225 lbs look like 130lb high school freshmen, skin and bones, no muscles. There are some extremely muscular 5'10, 5'9, 5'8 running backs in the NCAA. Most any RB in game under 6'0, regardless of weight, looks like Erkel in shouldpads. Most WRs and DBs in game look malnourished. While they may only weigh 170 to 210 pounds, 90% of DBS and WRS in game look like 135 lb weaklings. On the other side of the coin, a lot of interior linemen looks like Sumo wrestlers in game. A total revamp of player modeling and how the musculo-skeletal system looks in game is long overdue.

-More realistic equipment per player @ default settings. Can we get rid of the 1980's and early 90's look for default equipment? Specifically the fact that in reality 99.9% of all players in the NCAA the last several years wear "short" jersey sleeves, versus what you see in EA's game, over 75% of the models wear the 1980's looking jerseys "sleeve standard". I dont think they even still make "sleeve standard" jerseys like we see in the uniform options. In reality it's either "sleeve tight" jerseys, or a modified tight jersey. While we're doing that lets get rid of WRs, DBs, QBs wearing >50 size shoulderpads. Get rid off all the ridiculous looking elbow pads and wrist bands to the elbow. 95% of players on the field IRL dont wear all that garbage on their arms like EA puts in the game. A vast majority of players in the NCAA only wear gloves, with the occasional taped wrist, and that's it.

While I understand the fact that I can edit both player looks(height, weight, muscularity), and player equipment myself, whatever you edit to get your team looking more like they do IRL, once you hop "online" it's all back to default. What's the problem with allowing EQUIPMENT EDITS for online games?

-Realistic simulations, I'm a stat junkie and when I'm playing offline I like recruiting then simulating the whole season to
see how my team did. It should ring closer to real life, like players being able to rack up 100+ tackles(90 players did it
last year), a larger number of QB's completing over 60% of their passes (66 QBs did it last year). No more ridiculous
upsets like Idaho beating LSU 34-17, and putting up 500+ yards of offense while doing it, The majority of A+ defenses
being in the top 20 of total yards allowed, and total points scored against instead of in the 50s and 60s. Player ratings
actually making a difference. Use cfbstats.com if you need a reference.

I want the FCS teams to be in the game just like they use to be in it. I'm tired of playing against FCS Midwest and those stupid generic teams.
Teambuilder
-more uniform options would be nice.college football is know for the new uniforms every year and the team builder has the same uniforms since the begining. A good idea would you chose the company that designs your uniform, nike, adidas, under armour, then you can create your own style or pick a style already used and get to pick the colors, two tone numbers, matte or shinny helmet. The create your own would be like nike builder for shoes, you pick the color of the sections of fabric or create a piping to put on it.
-more generic stadiums to choose from
-when you choose a stadium your teams logo replaces the logos and colors of the stadium.
Road To Glory
-The ability to transfer from a school, and xp that you can buy that you need, not all of your xp for read and react when its maxed out.

I havent gotten a chance to read everyone's post so I'm not sure if these ideas have already been said but here's my wish list of NCAA 14:

- create a bowl/kickoff classic/rivalry
With the B12 & SEC creating the "Champions Bowl", players of the game should be able to create bowl games like this one. Also, my favorite part of the season is the kickoff classic games such as Chick-Fil-A kickoff & Cowboys Classic games. Even if you cant legally use the sponsor's name, at least use "Atlanta Kickoff Classic" or "Arlington/Dallas Classic". In addition, I love to create my own kickoff classic game where my team or any team could play a big game at a neutral site. Also, with the conference realignments, one should be able to create new rivalries within your conference especially if you are in a new conference.

- unlockable NFL stadiums
As a long time fan and player of this series, I thought there use to be a better variety of NFL stadiums you could play in. In real life, college teams play at NFL stadiums whether it be an unofficial home game or a neutral site. Stadiums like: Chicago's Soldier Field, Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium, Cincinnati's Paul Brown Stadium, Cleveland's Browns Stadium, Jets & Giants' MetLife Stadium, Seattle's CenturyLink Field, *. Louis' Edward Jones Dome, New England's Gillette Stadium, Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, Green Bay's Lambeau Field & Washington D.C's FedEx Field should be able to atleast be unlocked! Not only will these stadiums be useful for conference title games but also if EA Sports implements the idea above. It should be easy to put in the game as Madden already has all these stadiums in their game.

- Crowd influence
While recruiting in NCAA '13, I thought to myself how cool would it be if when your recruit comes to visit you can plan a "color" (Black, White, etc) out for the crowd. I think recruits should be influenced by the crowd at a game. If a recruit visits a campus (and goes to that week's game on campus), they would likely want to see the atomsphere of the stadium. Being able to plan a "BLACK out" for a big time game would be AWESOME! Also, possibly adding towels or other items to help increase the atomsphere at the stadium.

- Updated Uniforms
With the ever-growing change of uniforms, EA should allow players of the NCAA football series to download the newest/latest uniforms. Oregon seems to get a new uniform every week and it would be awesome if players could wear those uniforms in the game.

- Conference Realignments
The WAC conference will be disbanding after the 2012 season. So we (as players of the game) should be able to eliminate a conference while using the custom conference features. Personally, I like to do 16 team "super" conferences while playing NCAA 13 and have no need for the Sun Belt or WAC conferences (or for that case any mid major conference).

- Playoffs
Again, as a long time user of NCAA football, I thought there use to be a feature where you could either do a bowl season or playoff system at years' end. With the NCAA going to a 4 team playoff system, it would be cool if the game allowed us to choose a bowl season or playoff system. For the playoff system, it should also allow us to choose the venues for each game/round. I for one like the idea of neutral site playoff system and would choose so in the game if I had the option.

Not necessary needed but would like to see....
- Announcing
With ESPN providing the presentation for the NCAA football series, EA should add more announcing teams in the game. ESPN has over 10 announcing teams that it could provide for NCAA 14. It is hard to believe that Nessler & Herbie would do a small time game, if one chooses to be a small program. EA should add at least two more announcing teams that way players would have a national broadcast team (Nessler or Musburger & Hebie, a regional broadcast team and a local broadcast team. Mike Patrick Sean McDonough or Joe Tessitore would be a fitting announcer for the "regional" team maybe paired with Palmer & Pollack or Todd Blackledge. For the local broadcast, EA could use names like Mark Jones or Carter Blackburn as announcers and Brock Huard or Rod Gilmore for analysts.

NCAA 2014 needs an option to update teambuilder teams that have been already added to a dynasty. Also once a custom team has been saved from teambuilder, they need a way to edit the rosters before a dynasty is created so a players home town and state can be changed.

I would like to see a 16 team playoff and the first 8 games or the 2nd week of the play off could be set as bowl games.

And change the service academy rosters so there are no red shirt players and Army, Navy and Air Force should have scholarships for every player on the team which I think is 75 players. In reality the Service Academies can dress the entire student bodies for a game

Disclaimer: This post is long and copied from my post over at OS's wishlist forum
Gameplay wise psychic D needs to be gone. This includes classic problems like the audible adjustments and route mirroring, but also instantaneous reaction. Pressing sprint should not open the gates of hell. I love versatile players, especially scrambling Qbs. I should not see the defensive line immediately shed blocks the second I hit R2 to scramble. This extends to all blocking as well. Too many times I've seen a hole open up, hit R2 and a DT immediately sheds a double team to turn a 3-5 yard gain into a 2 yard loss. This also extends to change of direction. All 11 players on D or kick/punt coverage should not turn left and right in-sync with me. How many times have you seen a player in real life break a tackle, reverse field and break a big run/return or score a touchdown, and how many times have you seen it in NCAA? This is also why jukes, spins, and fake pitches tend to fail more often then not because the CPU reacts to your controller rather than the player on the field. Foot planting and slipping needs to affect DBs as well as receivers. The reason for route mirroring is because the defense glides around whereas the offense has to make cuts. I've also yet to see a defender slip in the rain but my receivers do it out of there breaks routinely causing plenty of avoidable picks or failed 3rd/4th down conversions. Corners should also be punished for jumping double moves by slipping and/or failing. Right now corners can jump routes and still get back in coverage with ease. If defense really worked this way, Asante Samuel would be the greatest corner ever, but there's a reason every team runs double moves his side. These are big problems that kill the game for me and would love to see addressed.

Other things like upgraded depth charts and more trick plays would be fantastic. One last thing, the flex-option needs to be overhauled. I play BC dynasties for the most part so facing Georgia Tech is unavoidable. This should not be a guaranteed W every year. The computer needs to be able to run every offense competently and effectively without cheating to do so, and holding GT to negative rushing yards annually makes zero sense whatsoever. Also allow us to organize the formation order in our playbooks. Shotgun with 3 formations shouldn't be before flexbone in an option based playbook.

EDIT: And can we please leave the no-huddle alone next year. No stupid delays or from what I hear of from last year, ruining playcalls.

I have a request for the "Play Now" choices on the first screen.

"Exhibition" and "Coach a Game" are two options you can select. If you select "Exhibition", you hit Advance and you can choose the following Contols: Regular, 1-Button, or Coach. If you select "Coach a Game", you hit Advance and you can choose the following Contols: Regular, 1-Button, or Coach.

Why are there 2 different options with the same 3 Contol choices? All 3 choices play the same under both options.

There should either be 2 different options (The Exhibition option have Regular & 1-Button as Control choices & The Coach a Game option having Coach & 1-Button as Control choices) or 1 option (Exhibition with all three Control choices).

If there are going to be two separate options, there should be a difference between the Control choices. There should be a reason for having two different options.

If I am missing something, let me know.

I agree. The actual FCS teams should be included in NCAA Football 14. Include the actual stadiums for the FCS schools. Don't use the actual name of the stadiums, but use the same stadium design & appearnace for all of the FCS stadiums. Also allow the player to select 1 FCS to compete against a FBS school or 2 FCS schools to compete against each other in Exhibition. I play as LSU in my Dynasty and I do not look forward to playing a generic team.
