As many of you know, we recently announced that David Beckham would be joining our EA SPORTS family as a brand ambassador for EA SPORTS Active. We were delighted that someone as highly regarded and inspiring as David would be signing on to help us bring EA SPORTS Active 2 to market this fall in Europe and Australia.

Earlier today we announced an important step in the ongoing transformation of EA SPORTS with the launch of Madden NFL Superstars on Facebook. I've been enjoying a closed beta version of the game for several weeks, and now it's available for everyone to play by clicking here.

For several weeks now since the announcement of new Hands-On Control in NBA ELITE 11, fans have heard our EA Canada development team describing a basketball experience that will dramatically change the way basketball games are played.

While I wish I could have been back at EA Redwood Shores on Tuesday for our annual Studio Showcase event (and the announcement of two next titles - Fight Night Champion and EA SPORTS Active NFL Training Camp)I'm certainly very pleased to be writing from here in the UK where we just completed an event a few hours ago here with our partners at the Premier League.

It's finally here! Today marks the beginning of the football season for millions of passionate college fans around the country. I am, of course, talking about the release of NCAA Football 11. While your favorite teams are still going through camps, itching for that opening kickoff in the first week of September, you don't have to wait.

For the past month, the entire world has been glued to the events in South Africa. There have been some fantastic moments, ranging from Donovan's last second goal against Algeria, to Uruguay's controversial handball from Luis Suarez, to David Villa and his Spanish squad that halted Germany in their tracks, and of course the early flights home for England, Brazil and Argentina.
