Though I had a prior commitment in New York and couldn't be there myself, I was glad to see such a great showing for EA SPORTS last week as part of the GDC week festivities in San Francisco. It was the earliest we've demoed our new product lineup, and it was in front of the largest media gathering ever for our annual EA SPORTS Season Opener.

I'm on my way home this morning from Miami, where I'm lucky to have had the chance to spend the past few days with my two oldest kids for the Super Bowl. I had to take a quick minute before boarding the plane to point out that our Madden NFL Super Bowl simulation has done it again. For the sixth time in seven years, our official simulation correctly picked the outcome of the Super Bowl, including an accurate prediction of Drew Brees taking home MVP honors (was there ever any doubt?!).

As most of you are by now well aware, the launch of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Online is a milestone that for some time has been of strategic importance for us at EA SPORTS. This innovative new title is a prime example of how we intend to reset our approach to gaming on the personal computer.

Fresh off the holidays, we're off to a big start to the New Year. Despite some of the industry headwinds, we are optimistic for continued growth from EA SPORTS in 2010, powered by a number of exciting projects that we have in the works. We were thrilled to announce one of those earlier this week - the iconic NBA JAM.

For the past month, we have watched the Tiger Woods story play itself out while several of his sponsors have stepped away from the golfer. At EA SPORTS, we've been particularly attentive because for the past year, we have been in full development of a new and highly innovative, online golf game. The game has been in closed beta for eight months, with more than 75,000 people playing and participating.

As you may have seen, earlier this week we were proud to announce our continued sales success with FIFA 10. We've sold more than 4.5million copies around the world and we're the No. 1 selling game in Europe. I can't say enough about the quality of this year's product and am thrilled the game has been so well received. I've been involved in some major franchises during my career in this industry, but I can't think of one that has had the global impact that FIFA has provided over the past couple of years...
